Simultaneous estimation of multiple antibiotic residues from chickensamples using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

This study was designed to quantify the residual concentrations of some antibiotics such as oxytetracycline (tetracycline), ciprofloxacin (quinolones group), enrofloxacin group) and levofloxacin in broiler production systems. For quantification antibiotic residues (ARs), a rapid, simple accurate method has been developed validated for simultaneous identification oxytetracycline, ciprofloxacin, chicken muscles livers by using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). The proposed showed good linearity with determination coefficient, r2=0.999 each r2=1.0 range 1.25 –15.00 µg/mL sensitivity detection limit (LOD) 25 ppb, 34 27 ppb 29 quantitation (LOQ) 83 110 89 96 levofloxacin, nrofloxacin respectively. A total 20 chickens (muscle liver) were examined (HPLC). Studied result revealed that detected 100% samples whereas completely not all samples. Oxytetracycline levels above Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) 55% muscle 75% liver below 85% contain residues. successfully applied multiple pharmaceutical formulations or other sectors routine analysis.
